Back in the Saddle

We should be updating more.

I actually finished FFIV and immediately went to another game - Tales of Phantasia. I figured that I would go with those games that would truly qualify as the epitome of a "backlog" - games I had played when I was much, much younger and hadn't beaten - FFIV, Tales of Phantasia, etc. But it had to be stuff I owned. I eagerly awaited the port/release of Tales of Phantasia for the GBA and played it a little but set it down and never got back to it. I tried to play it for purposes of writing a review for it but it is near impossible for me to play - the voice acting, the lagging so I went to the oldest friend of RPG players - the internetz. I'm now playing the PSX translated version on my modded PSP and it's every bit as good as I remember when I played the DeJap translation for Super Famicon - more accurate too, I'd imagine.

E is going to be at the doctor's office for a treatment on Wednesday - a full 8 hours. I will be accompanying him and playing games all day, basically. I have two additional days off from work this week as well so I'm *hoping* to beat Phantasia in that time span and have a beautiful review to write for this great game. <3
